UNICEF Groundwater Mapping — Somali Region, Ethiopia

LEBIZU, in partnership with DH Consult, is delivering a groundwater mapping project for UNICEF Ethiopia across 20 woredas in one of the country's most drought-prone regions.

Combining remote sensing, GIS, AI, hydrogeological assessment, geophysical investigations and field verification, the 11-month project will deliver groundwater potential maps, hydrogeological and geophysical reports, and recommended development sites — the scientific evidence needed to support climate-resilient water supply planning for communities across the Somali region.
